Fatal blow to private property rights

At the April 23rd Town Council meeting, four councilors struck a fatal blow to the private property rights of Tiverton landowners. Councilors Lambert, Leonard, Pelletier and Roderick voted for a resolution in support of H 7592/S 2870 legislation giving eminent domain powers to the East Bay Energy Consortium. Dangerous over-reaching bill - East Bay Energy Consortium Act!!!!

Here is a blog post that will be "live" on the Bristol Warren Patch tomorrow morning at 9:00am.  This is a terribly over-reaching bill and RISC has just put it on their site as "dangerous"!  The hearing is May 2nd.  Please call Chris Ottiano and the others  and tell them that you are opposed to this bill!

It is our own "Deepwater Wind" nightmare!

East Bay Patriots Meeting - Sustainable Developement - Smart Meters

We will be having our April East Bay Patriots meeting on April 16th, 6:30 pm, Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope St in Bristol.  Bristol is currently undergoing construction on Hope Street and is temporarily a one way street, going north.  You will need to take Thames Street if coming South, and park in the library parking lot.
