Hi!
For those of you who have been following the saga of the Bristol County Water Authority in the East Bay, we have some news. The Executive Director, Pasquale Delise, has submitted his resignation. This is a major step in the right direction of righting the wrongs that the BCWA has done in squandering RI taxpayer money. As I have said before, yes, it is a local issue, but it affects every taxpayer in the state when your resources are used inappropriately!
Thank you to all who helped and supported us in this effort.
Certainly, it is just the beginning. We have much more to do on this issue before we can consider our BCWA a well-run organization. Town Directors need to be replaced with insightful, dedicated people who truly have the best interest of the ratepayers at heart. The Executive Director needs to be replaced with someone who has water resource management experience, communicates well, and has impeccable integrity.
And so we carry on...
Take care... marina
